The Mission of Pax Mercurius

Pax Mercurius strives to offer you the best astrology reports out there. Readings are a combination of (mostly) medieval and (some) modern astrological techniques, with the former being preeminent.

All readings are hand-written and are assessed for each client by a real astrologer. The only use of the computer is drawing the chart – so a written report from Pax Mercurius for you is as good as a face-to-face astrology session.

Even the most mundane questions are given serious consideration, without bias or judgment. Confidentiality is assured. If Gwydion feels that a specific issue is better resolved by a medical or psychological professional, he will advise as such.

Pax Mercurius is founded on a set of strong values:

• That the greatest of all things is reflected in the smallest of them, and that everything, in coming from the One Thing, is a part of its multiplicity. Therefore, all matters are relevant, and all actions that are taken can be taken in an attitude of awareness and appreciation of the sacred.



• That Astrology defines the boundaries, only so that we may transcend and surpass them. The role of the Astrologer is not to tell you how to live, but rather, to help you find the areas where you have not been living.




• That the role of the spiritual professional is not to be 'mystical' or 'spiritually enlightened', but to helpfully and practically facilitate the enlightenment of others – whether that is enlightening them on the reality of a particular situation or advising them through a transpersonal experience.




• That astrology is a complement, not a replacement, for the wonderful things we have been able to create and do. In other words, if you have a medical horary done, take the information away in your mind to a good doctor.




• That the pursuit of this balance between spirituality and practicality is not only important, but necessary. The material, the imaginary, and the mystical are all 'real', but leaning too far into one or the other without checking the balance is problematic.




• That ignorance is not something to be celebrated and mystified, but dispelled. To this end, Pax Mercurius seeks to educate (and be educated!) as much as it is a business. Gwydion's reading techniques, philosophy and ethics are clearly accessible, and he is easily contactable for teaching, seminars, and the answering of questions.
