Each Bracelet is hand-woven into a long spiral knot, using six colours and a metallic weave (Silver, gold or copper) into each piece. Every bracelet is unique, with subtle differences in design and make. They come with a hand-painted tag in ink and watercolour, with information on the zodiacal sign they represent.
Bracelets can come unfinished or finished with a crab-claw clasp. Unfinished bracelets should not be removed once worn, as the knot will set and become both comfortable and sturdy. A finished bracelet, with a clasp, is more suitable for occasional wear.

Care of Spiral Knot Bracelets:
- Bracelets will last around 6 - 7 months if worn every day, without unknotting. They can be worn for longer, but there may be a slight fading of colour due to the buildup from being close to your skin. Bracelets woven with a magical ritual in mind may wear out faster - they are made out of the same materials, but it just seems to happen.
- Bracelets with a clasp, taken on and off, will last much longer- one to three years. They can be washed in cold water and laundry detergent if they start to look dull.
- Bracelet colour will last longer if not exposed to hot water or harsh chemicals.
- To knot an bracelet, leave the long fluffy ends on for around 3 to 4 days after knotting. After that time, the knot will 'set' as the spirals lock with each other. After the knot is sequre and tight, the ends can be trimmed as desired.

Bracelets can also be made to order, with crystals, beads of various kinds, and charms woven into the design. The base price of the bracelet is identical to the Zodiac Bracelets, with the additional price added for beads and extras:
Metal spacers - +.50c per bead
Pandora-Style Glass beads - +$2 per bead
Other Large Glass Beads - +$2 per bead
Crystal/Semi-Precious Beads - Varies depending on the stone and availability of a suitable stone.
Additional Colours (more than 6) - $1 per extra colour.
The material the bracelets are made from comes in over 200 colours, so if you want a particular set of colours, they probably exist! Each bracelet comprises 6 colours, usually including one metallic. A custom colour bracelet without beads is the same base price as the Zodiac Bracelet set.

With a make and finish similar to the bracelets, spiral knot necklaces are longer and are tailored to each person for size and fit. The necklaces are durable and beautiful, suitable for every-day wear. They are great for talismans and magical workings, as they combine colour symbolism with the dedicated focus of the creator (each one takes about 4 - 5 hours to make!) and the individuality of the wearer.
Necklaces can be made plain, without beads or pendants, and a plain necklace will accomodate most free pendants. However, having the pendant braided into the necklace creates a beautiful and unique custom piece, and allows the artist to add in spacer beads to prevent a pendant or charm from sliding around, as it would on a chain or thong.
The necklaces are comprised of 6 or 7 colours (usually including one metallic) and come in the 12 Zodiac Colours scheme, rainbow, or custom.

You can send in a charm or a pendant to Pax Mercurius by mail, and the artist will work it in to your design. Alternatively, a request for a particular kind of piece (eg. a dragon, owl, a particular kind of crystal) can be placed, and Gwydion will source it for you and quote the additional price (typically exchanging links showing the piece via email for confirmation).

- Necklaces will last around 10 months if worn every day under clothing, without unknotting. They can be worn for longer, but there may be a slight fading of colour due to the buildup from being close to your skin. Necklaces woven for a magical purpose seem to wear out faster, like the bracelets.
- Neckalces with a clasp, taken on and off, will last much longer- one to three years. They can be washed in cold water and laundry detergent if they start to look dull.
- It is recommended that you take your necklace off before showering, bathing and swimming. Sea water and chlorine will bleach the colours over time. The colour will last much longer if not exposed to hot water or harsh chemicals.
- To knot a necklace, leave the long fluffy ends on for around 3 to 4 days after knotting. After that time, the knot will 'set' as the spirals lock with each other. After the knot is sequre and tight, the ends can be trimmed as desired.
